Woman beating by police officer that was caught on CCTV is found dead in her prison cell

A woman who suffered a brutal assault by a police officer has been found dead in her prison cell.
Sarah Reed, 32, was punched three times and dragged by the hair by officer James Kiddie in a horrific attack at clothing store Uniqlo in Regent Street, London, which was caught on CCTV.

The 45-year-old Metropolitan Police officer was convicted of the assault in 2014 at Westminster Magistrates' Court and given a 12-month community order and kicked out the force.
Ms Reed, who was being arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at the time of the attack, has now been found dead at Holloway Prison in Islington, north London.
She was said to have been found unresponsive in her prison cell last month.

According to civil rights campaigner Lee Jasper, she was being held on remand over an incident at a hospital where she was being treated for mental health problems. An investigation has now been launched.
A Prison Service spokesperson said: 'HMP Holloway prisoner Sarah Reed was found unresponsive in her cell at 8am on January 11.
