Sarz beats Music Producer, Sarz has decided to give an upcoming artist the chance to feature in his next album by holding a beat competition. The winner who will also give the artist N150,000, but will have to download a free beat by Sarz and than provide a verse and chorus for the beat. All entries are to be sent to SarzGiveAway@beatby sarz.com, before the competition closes on March 24. The winner will be determined by a panel of judges chaired by Sarz.   

Desmond Elliot Popular actor Desmond Elliot plans to go into politics, The actor and film director in a recent interview admitted that he was no more doing mainstream acting, and selective about the movies he will appear . Elliot who won best supporting actor at the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Chioces Awards(AMVCA) is said to be vying for a post in the upcoming 2015 election. He is now a card carrying member of Labour Party and plans to contest for the Lagos House of Assembly, Surulere consistency, come 2015. Actor  and movie director, Desmond Elliot who said he's going into politics because he wants to be an agent for change ' will start his political campaign soon.

Jaywon Kennis Music has officially released a statement to reveal that the  singer  Jaywon whose real name is Edahi  Oluwajuwonlo James has decided to buy out his contract with the label, Kennis  Music revealed that the artist had written a letter through his Lawyer requesting the termination of his contract with the Kennis music. The statement which was signed by Kennis Music Public Affairs Unit instructed all broadcasters for different platform to un-list  Jaywon  and songs until the matter of buying out the contract is resolved. After working with Kennis Music for over three years, there’s a strong possibility that pop singer James Oluwajuwonlo Edahi better known as Jaywon will be leaving the record label. Jaywon joined Kennis Music in 2009 after he was discovered by label boss Kenny Ogungbe at that year’s annual Kennis Music Easter Fiesta. He was signed two weeks later after performing live on stage. The 2014 edition with the theme; Nationalism and Patriotism focuses on the centenary celebrations of the country and the film medium as connecting cords that bind and unite Nigeria and humanity in the common pursuit of global peace, progress and development. Bola Okoro A relative of Olanike Olaiya has said that Olaiya was not raped  by the Fuji Star Obesere. The relative, Bola Okoro, said in an interview with The Nation that she has been  financially responsible for Olaiya and her daughter for more than five years and that she was the one who introduced Olaiya to Obesere. Obesere's real name is Abass Akande. She claimed that some unnamed people are using Olaiya  to spoil Obesere's  good reputation .
