EFCC arrests two fraudsters over N500million oil scam

      EFCC, has smashed a syndicate of suspected fraudsters who duped their victims, within and outside Nigeria, over N300million in cases involving different fake crude oil deals. Two members of the syndicate, Michael Oghenemi Morowie and Emmanuel Owoicho, are currently in the custody of EFCC, explaining their involvement in the alleged crude oil scam. EFCC moved against the syndicate following complainants by victims, who have been fleeced by the alleged fraudsters who operate, using different pseudo names and companies. An unsuspecting victim alleged that members of the syndicate collected the sum of N119million from him in the pretext of supplying him two million barrels of Bonny Light Crude Oil. According to him, the oil supply documents, which were purportedly obtained from the NNPC, were, however, found to be fakes. Popular Nigerian brand expert, Kenny Badmus has come public as a homosexual just a month after revealing his is HIV positive. The popular brand expert took to his Facebook page to reveal that his is gay. He also revealed how his ex-wife married him even after she knew about his sexual preference for men. Kenny Badmus came public with his sexual preference for men with a Facebook post on the morning of Thursday, January, 8. Despite being married for six years before divorcing, the Orange Academy founder in the Facebook post confesses to be gay and reveals that his ex-wife was aware of it but still married him. “When I first told my ex-wife that I was gay, we were far from being married. I wanted her to find other men honourably, who had a thing for women. I never did. I “swear down.” I was only obeying the popular demand of traditions. Boko Haram crisis: Nigeria's Baga town hit by new assault

The Boko Haram group attacked Baga town on Wednesday, after over-running a military base there on Saturday, they said. Almost the entire town had been torched and the militants were now raiding nearby areas, they added. Boko Haram launched a military campaign in 2009 to create an Islamic state. It has taken control of many towns and villages in north-eastern Nigeria in the last year. The conflict has displaced at least 1.5 million people, while more than 2,000 were killed last year. Ekiti State police command have arrested 25-year-old, Familola Ayodeji for allegedly raping an 85-year-old great-grandmother. The Nigeria Police Force on Thursday released a statement on the case: The operatives of the Department of Criminal Investigation, Ado-Ekiti have arrested one Familola Ayodeji ‘m’ of No. 17, Oke Ido Street, Ido-Ekiti aged 25 years for the rape of an 85 year old woman on the 25th December, 2014.
