Basketmouth takes his dysfunctional mind to America

                              Basketmouth has announced that his Uncesonred: Dysfunctional Mind show will take place in the United States on July 4. He made this announcement on his  Twitter page on Tuesday. The Lagos leg of the show takes place on June 29 at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, will feature Davido, 2face Idibia, Wizkid, Phyno, Olamide and Sound Sultan. Watch the Video below.

Don Jazzy denies being in a cult

                                           The latest hit single by Donjazzy and the rest of the artists on his Mavin Record Label titled Dorobucci has cause a stir in the entertainment waters, as it was alleged that the song is dedicated to a cult. The accusation went viral online, and Donjazzy has used his Instagram page to dispel the rumours. “Okay some very sad people have been sending this around. Eyaaa pele (Sorry). It's things like this that make me so sure that all that illuminati crap about some Yankee artistes is just BS. Lol. Oil minister declines House invitation over porobe

                            Minister of Petroluem Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, has rejected a request to appear in front of the Public Accounts committee of the House of Representatives to explain her role in the alleged spending of N10bn to charter and maintain a jet for her personal use. The minister has written the committee to decline the invitation to the hearing slated for June 26, reports Cable News. She told the committee that appearing before it would be prejudicial as there are cases in courts over the probe. Andrew Yakubu, the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has also turned down the committee’s invitation based on the reason given by Alison-Madueke.

Frank Osodi urges entertainers dress modestly

          One of the nation’s renowned designers, Frank Osodi, on Monday advised artistes in the fashion industry to dress modestly and be trend setters in order to portray Africa positively. Osodi, who gave the advice in Lagos, stressed the need for artistes to understand that certain events required certain modes of dressing that would not attract negative publicity. Osodi designed the dress that Agbani Darego wore when she was crowned Miss World in November 2001. "Actors and actresses should be a bit more like trend setters and not like over the top and except when it’s an event, I think. Even at that they should be a bit more because of where we are living in; we leave in Africa, Nigeria precisely." he said. He urged artistes to consult with their designers to ensure that they were packaged appropriately for the event they would be attending. Kefee’s body lands in Nigeria

The remains of late singer, Kefee, arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday for her burial which holds in June, The body which arrived Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos at 4pm on a Delta Airline aircraft, was received by a few family members.  It is not confirmed if Teddy Don-Momoh, husband of the late singer arrived with the body. Teddy was by with his late wife in the US before she passed away. Kefee died on Friday, June 13 2014, after being in a coma for 15 days. A statement released by her UK manager confirms that the singer died as a result of lungs failure....

T.W.O and 2face show patriotism in new song

                                    Husband and wife musical duo, Tunde and Wunmi Obe, popularly called T.W.O have released the video for their new single Green White Green The song which features 2face Idibia, and is directed by Clarence Peters and shot in Lagos. Green White Green’ which was released on the 1st of June 2014 is a unique song advocating for peace and unity in Nigeria. The single, written by T.W.O and produced by Bayo Joseph shows T.W.O and 2Face Idibia pouring their minds out in a plea for the restoration of oneness in Nigeria. Keshi understands the stake

                         Stephen Keshi has acknowledged that Nigeria will have to improve on their performance against Iran when they face Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday, KickOff Nigeria reports. Nigeria played a barren draw against Iran, much to the disappointment of Nigerians. Keshi stated that the response to Nigeria's draw against Iran on Monday boils down to the fact that a lot of people underrated Iran and expected the game to be a walkover for the African champions.
