A lot of people were of the opinion that they should not have used social media to air their relationship secrets and now Chris Brown has taken to his Instagram account to apologize to Karrueche saying he doesn’t think social media was the place to hash out their personal problems. He shared a pensive picture and captioned, ‘Being young and dumb is one of my strong suits and emotional at best. I love hard and react impulsively when I’m hurt at times. I don’t think social media is a place to air out or hash out personal problems and a nigga feel hella WACK for doing it. So I AM APOLOGIZING I live in a glass house and the same shit that makes me great also is my curse. Everybody know I love that girl. I don’t care how my image my look to the public because I’m still gonna be the best at what I do. I just want baby girl to know I apologize!’

British singer Sting and Oscar-winning US actor Tom Hanks have been feted in Washington as recipients of this year's Kennedy Center honours. Soul singer Al Green, 9 to 5 star Lily Tomlin and ballet dancer Patricia McBride were also saluted at the White House ahead of a gala concert. Sting, 63, said it was "rare" for an Englishman to receive the honour. "I'm not sure when I'll wear it again, but I think I look rather fetching in it," he said of his rainbow ribbon. Continue...

Jolly Tumuhiirwe, the 22-year-old maid who was caught on camera physically assaulting 18-month old baby, Arnella Kamanzi, has pleaded guilty to the torture of a baby. She is facing up to 15 years jail time for the crime, Daily Mail reports. Continue...

According to a report from  Sahara Reporters , the insurgents abducted the victims during an invasion on the town last Wednesday. An eyewitness told reporters that hundreds of terrorists stormed the town with heavy weaponry, including explosives and tanks. “They burnt almost half of the town before they left. Those of us who were lucky fled, but they massacred aged ones and younger men they could catch,” said the eyewitness. According to him, the people in the town had incessantly appealed to security operatives to deploy more troops to the area, but their demands were ignored. He also stated that the insurgents had been trying to gain access to the town since late November, but local fighters had been able to keep them away, until they were overpowered last Wednesday.

A 35-year-old wife and mother of four children, Martha Ifeoma Ifewulu, was murdered in her Lagos home on Monday December, 1st. Her young children returned from school to their home at Oke-Afa, a suburb of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area of Lagos on that day and found her lying in a pool of her own blood, The Sun reports.                Federal lawmaker, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on Sunday said she decided not to return to the House of Representatives in 2015 to give others the chance to contest. Dabiri-Erewa, an APC member, who presently represents Ikorodu Federal Constituency, spoke with newsmen in Ikorodu, Lagos. She was among delegates who voted at the APC primary election for the House of Representatives in Ikorodu.      Fehintola “FT” Omidele the 25-year-old Nigerian doctor who is based in Houston, United States, and went missing on Sunday, November 30th, has been found. According to abc13 Eyewitness News, found alive in El Campo, Texas, a small Texas city 60 miles from her home on Sunday afternoon. Omidele is said to have called her sister around 1 p.m on Sunday, informing her about her location and assuring her that she was safe. The circumstances of her disappearance is still unclear.
