                            To tackle rising unemployment in the country, Nigeria is expected to create 4.5 million jobs annually, according to a report by the Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme, NSRP.                        As the N65 charge on extended use of other banks’ Automated Teller Machines, ATMs, reintroduced by the Central Bank, kicks off today, September 1, Nigerians have continued to react to a policy many believe is unnecessary. Nigerians accuse the CBN of abandoning its regulatory responsibilities and taking sides with the bank to exploit customers through the policy, the CBN says the decision is aimed at curbing frivolous withdrawals and abuse by ATM users. The new policy alters the old arrangement in which the CBN resolved with the Bankers Committee in December 2012 to transfer the payment of N100 fee on remote-on-us ATM withdrawal transactions. On the other hand, all ATM cash withdrawals by customers on ATMs owned by their issuing banks would continue to be free.

                       Sad news for Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence. Her phone was recently hacked and private nude images of the actress have been leaked online. The hacker who leaked the photos is said to have 60 images allegedly showing the star in compromising positions in his possession.    Jennifer Lawrence is not the only victim of the hacker, a long list of other celebrities’ phones were allegedly hacked as well. Celebrities all around the world including Nigeria have been victims of leaked nude photos. The 24 year old actress is reported to be mortified and upset over the situation.

                    It is a brand new online interview show hosted by radio and media veteran Olisa Adibua and it is titled “The Truth“. In the first episode, Olisa interviews Wizkid and he definitely asks all the hard questions. From his relationship with EME, “This is my last album with EME…but they are family” to other topics including if he has abandoned his roots, his alleged beef with Davido, his relationship with Tania Omotayo and more. It is an interesting interview and it was great that Olisa asked the probing questions. See the video here.
