Just a few days after a military helicopter crashed in the Damare area of Adamawa State, another one has crashed in Yola. The latest crash occurred yesterday, according to Sahara Reporters . According to Eyewitnesses told journalists that “the helicopter stalled in the sky before crashing to the ground in a ball of fire.” A statement is yet to be released about the incident.

A 32-year old mason, Terkula Iorpuur, of Behind Hemko Hospital, Kanshio, was on Thursday remanded in prison by a Makurdi Magistrates’ Court for allegedly raping two sisters. Iorpuur is charged with rape punishable under Section 284 of the Penal Code.
