The couple took pride of place in their courtside seats, with Kim nestling into the Stronger rapper's shoulder. Ebola cases in Liberia appear to fall

                         The number of new Ebola cases appears to be dropping in Liberia, the West African country hardest hit by the virus, a World Health Official said Wednesday. The WHO has noted that new cases have been falling for more than a week. Officials weren't sure if there were really fewer cases, however, or if people had stopped going to the hospital, or if overwhelmed medical staff had simply stopped reporting cases, said Bruce Aylward, assistant director-general in charge of operational response at WHO.          Pope Francis has waded into the controversial debate over the origins of human life, saying the big bang theory did not contradict the role of a divine creator, but even required it. The pope was addressing the plenary assembly of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, which gathered Monday at the Vatican to discuss "Evolving Concepts of Nature." "When we read about Creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything. But that is not so," Francis said. Zambian President Michael Sata dies in London

                      Zambian President Michael Sata has died at the age of 77 after receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness, the government says. President Sata, who was being treated in the UK, died in London's King Edward VII hospital on Tuesday night. According to a report from BBC that he died after "a sudden onset [of] heightened heart rate". It is not immediately clear who will succeed the president. The issue may be decided by the Zambian cabinet which meets on Wednesday morning. "It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing on of our beloved president," cabinet secretary Roland Msiska said on national TV. The president's death comes just days after Zambia celebrated the 50th anniversary of independence from the UK.

Fire guts Federal Ministry of Works building in Lagos

                    Property worth millions of Naira were, yesterday evening destroyed as fire gutted Federal Ministry of Works building at Tafawa Balewa Square, on Lagos Island. Eyewitness said that no fewer than three offices were gutted by the fire, which lasted for over an hour, before it was put out by a combined team of the Federal Fire Service and their state counterpart. The Information Officer, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, also said: “The fire affected part of the ground floor that housed Federal Ministry of Works and Bank of Industries (Cooperatives section). “The fire was put off at about 7p.m. There were no casualties and no one was injured.”
