African fashion week This years fashion week kicks off on march 7 at the intercontinential Hotel in Victoria Island in Lagos. According to the organisation to the organisers, the two days event celebrates African Fashion and will create a melting pot both established and upcoming fashion designers. The event is also expected to be a gathering of designers fabric manufacturers and printer jewelers, Photographers, make-up artist, model, fashion designers and fashionistas from across the continent.

Damilola Adegbite and Chris Attoh Stars from popular televsion series Tinsel,  Damilola Adegbite and Chris Attoh, will get married in a traditional wedding ceremony on April 12 at Adegbites's home in Surulere. Rumours of a possible marriage between the two started going around after a post on Linda Ikeji's blog. Adegbite cleared the matter up by declaring on Twitter that the love birds were planing on getting married. Adegbite said in the tweet that she was waiting for the right moment to tie the knot with her Ghanaian love. congrats for them. 

MTN MTN Nigeria insist it had not increased the price of its physical recharge vouchers despite such suggestion by dealers. According to market surveys in Lagos, while Vouchers of other networks operators sells for same value price, MTN N400 N750, N1,000   and N1,500 are sold with an additional N50 across the board. Some dealers told our correspondent that most customers no longer bought MTN vouchers from them because of the additional N50 placed on the physical vouchers. Emeka Uwadibia, who sells recharge at Iyana Ipaja said he had since stop selling MTN recharge cards because no one bought them with the additional price on the face value. 'Nobody wants to buy a recharged cards for N400 for N430 0r N450 I buy for N400 Voucher form a major dealer for N420. Since  i must make my own gain, i sell at N440 or N450. Initially customers were complains but they are still buying from me. Last week, i decided to stop selling all MTN vouchers since nobody is buying them again&

Davido                               Music star Davido has announced the release date for his Skelewu album. The Nigeria American singe said confirmed the album will be release in the united kingdom. The confirmation came during a live television show in the UK where he is currently touring. No information was however provided on when the album will be available in Nigeria . Davido has also produced for artist like Naeto C, Skales, Tiwa Savage, and Sauce kid is also a brand ambassador for MTN Nigeria.

D'banj International act and boss of DB Records, D'Banj has dropped the Third  singles off his anticipated album, the song titled  Gifted, Featuring DJ Jimmy Jatt. The song comes a few days after D'Banj's second single titled Oya Wait Featuring Burna Boy hit the airwaves. Gifted was produced by DB record signees 2kriss and is expected to be on D'Banj I AM D'Banj  which is set for release during the year.

Skales                         Rapper turn singer, Skales whose real name is Raoul John -Njeng, revealed to take charge of his music career, so he did not renew contract with Empire Mates Entertainment. 'EME'. Skales said that he is presently working on his new album at Timaya's studio and is re-branding himself as a musician. Skales denied that he was signed to Timaya's Dem Mama Records  and insist that he only used the studio in Timaya's house to create music beats.
