                         A former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Gordon Brown, has asked the British government to send troops to Nigeria to help secure the release of the abducted pupils of Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State. The girls, well over 200 of them, were kidnapped from their hostels on the night of April 14. Brown, who is also the United Nations Special Envoy for Global Education, while speaking during a debate at the House of Commons, said that in view of the possibility that the kidnapped girls might have been divided into groups and hidden in separate places, his home government should send the UK forces to assist Nigeria’s army.

     The British girl who was filmed performing a sex on 24 men in Majorca was told she would win a 'holiday' - but it was just the name of a £4 cocktail, it was today claimed. The 18-year-old, who is yet to be named, was captured on video working her way through holidaymakers at a nightclub in the island’s notorious party capital of Magaluf. Donning pink hotpants and a white vest top, she was cheered on by revellers as she moved from man to man, encouraging each of them to take their trousers down. The two-minute footage was later posted online and quickly went viral, sparking outrage among local politicians and women's rights groups. Last night, police launched an inquiry into the incident, which took place during an event organised by Carnage Magaluf at Alex's Bar.

                              T he National Conference on Thursday voted for the creation of 18 more states in the country. The creation of new states was one of the decisions taken by the delegates at their plenary while considering the report of the Committee on Political Restructuring and Forms of Government. Apart from the 18 new states proposed, the conference said a separate state-yet-to-be named should be carved out of the South-East to bring the number of the states in the zone to six. In creating a new state from the South-East geopolitical zone, the conference said the creation would correct the imbalance of the zone having the least number of states.

                          Some soldiers are currently causing chaos in the Palmgroove area of Lagos. An eye-witness said trouble started when a BRT bus hit a soldier on a bike. Nobody knows if the soldier died (though there are indications that he may have been crushed to death) but other soldiers immediately arrived the scene and started stopping all BRT buses on the express beating drivers and sending passengers out. Beating even passers-by who move too close to them or take pictures. According the eye-witness who sent in the photos, two civilians were beaten up and a guy who was taking pictures was beaten and his phone smashed on the express road. Then the soldiers started vandalizing the buses! According to the source, some soldiers left the express and took big sticks from women cooking by the road to break the glasses of the bus.Then one of them took stones and allegedly threw it into the crowd twice.
