                             The headquarters of the Nigerian Football Federation, (NFF) is on fire. Channels TV reports that the fire started from the top floor of the building, where the finance department is located. The cause of the fire is still unknown. We will bring you additional details as they become available.

                       A Nigerian woman showing symptoms of Ebola Virus Disease caused a scare after she fainted at a crowded jobcentre in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday. She was immediately rushed in an ambulance to the Charite Hospital but about 600 visitors and officials of the job centre were quarantined by emergency service officials who sealed off part of the street in Prenzlauer Berg district where the centre is located. Several who came into contact with her were later taken to the hospital for testing while those quarantined were allowed to go after several hours. Continue...

                        The Liberian Ministry of Health on Tuesday said that three health care workers who were given the experimental Ebola drug ZMapp in Liberia have shown “very positive signs of recovery”. The medical professionals also treating the workers have called their progress “remarkable” The government also confirmed that the 17 patients who escaped a local clinic after it was attacked earlier in the week, have been accounted for, while those who tested positive are being treated at another medical centre.                      An American journalist kidnapped in 2012 James Wright Foley was beheaded in an ISIS video release on Youtube on Tuesday 19th August 2014. It was later taken down from Youtube for violation of its policies. The video was titled “A Message to America”. A person in a black robe with a gun strapped on and a masked hat to cover the face, apart from the eyes, appears in the video next to Foley. Continue...
