Angelina Jolie honored by Queen of England for humanitarian work
Angelina Jolie was a special kind of Hollywood royalty. Now it's official — on Friday, the Queen of England named the Oscar-winning actress an honorary dame, in honor of her work fighting sexual violence and for services to UK foreign policy. Jolie was presented with the award at Buckingham Palace in London, in a private meeting with the Queen. Her recognition is part of the Diplomatic Service and Overseas Birthday 2014 Honours List.
