Stephanie Okereke Linus Announces Hollywood Role

                    Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke Linus is poised to break into the big league as she gets a role in a Hollywood movieThe actress cum producer revealed that she will be playing the role of Doris- a lady from the second generation of slave trade in America whose parents came from Nigeria in the movie titled Boonville Redemption. The movie will be shot in Los Angeles. She made the announcement on the social media platform Instagram saying “Hey fab people, yours truly will be featuring in an American western epic movie “Boonville Redemption. will keep y’all posted,” she stated.

New video: Lynxxx 'My Place'

Lynxxx is back on the scene with a brand new sound and fresh new music like we have never heard him before! Putting finishing touches to his long awaited sophomore album “Jollof Musik”, Lynxxx promises to thrill fans with new videos and singles dropping every month till the album release in November 2014. The video was directed by Kemi Adetiba  'My Place'. Lovely and effective video that visually displays the lyrics of the song; releasing the visuals and the song at the same time is a sound idea. The video features the beautiful TV host Stephanie Coker. Also, Lynxxx has been working very hard the past few months in the studio with E-Kelly and according to sources, his sophomore album is almost ready. Watch the video here.

Germany are world champions

                    Germany dashed Argentina’s hopes of winning the World Cup for a third time after they beat the South Americans 1-0 in the final of Brazil 2014 at the iconic Maracana Stadium on Sunday. Both countries had earlier met in the World Cup final — Mexico 1986, Italia ’90 — with the Diego Maradona-led Argentina beating the Germans 3-2 in Mexico while Germany won in 1-0 in Italy — with M aradona on the losing side. An extra time goal scored by Mario Goetze was all the Germans needed to win their fourth World Cup title at the expense of Argentina.

Ritualists chop off woman’s head in Ondo

                                                      Akoko North West area of Ondo State over the chopping off of the head of a woman for alleged ritual purpose. Already, Police authorities in the state have ordered full blown investigation into the incident which is causing panic in the community. Police sources said the headless body of the deceased was found along old Ogbagi/Arigidi Akoko road at about 9pm on Saturday. It was gathered that the deceased body, between 25 to 30 years, was discovered by a passerby who raised alarm and the Police were invited. Consequently, a team of detectives under the command of ASP Ezeala Obiora visited the scene and alleged that the corpse must have been dropped by suspected ritualists.   The Policemen at Irun Akoko division were hinted on Saturday morning that there was an headless body of a lady...

Apapa-Oshodi Expressway: Fashola orders LASTMA, Taskforce to manage traffic

                          Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State yesterday directed the officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA and Taskforce on Environment and Special Offences (Enforcement Unit) to manage the traffic gridlock in Apapa. Fashola, who spoke after inspecting the level of traffic on Apapa-Oshodi Expressway and the ports, said the state would work with all stakeholders to ensure that normalcy returns to the Apapa central Business District, CBD.
