Boko Haram men have threatened to kill the school girls they abducted on April 15th if the search for them continues. This is after some Borno women under the auspices of BAOBAB Women’s Right said they are planning to storm the Sambisa forest where the abducted girls are believed to be held. A Sharia Court in Nigeria yesterday ruled the 70-year-old man that raped a minor as reported here , Ubale Saidu, who raped a 13-year old girl and infected her with Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV should be stoned to death. At least four policemen were killed when some unknown gunmen opened fire at their vehicle in southwest Pakistan ‘s Balochistan province on Thursday, local media reported. Dunya TV said that the police vehicle came under attack on routine patrol in Shahenshah area of Dera Murad Jamali district. The attackers fled the scene following the attack while the rescue teams shifted bodies to a nearby hospital for autopsy. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. This was the second attack on police Thursday and fourth of its kind over the last three days. Earlier Thursday, four people including a senior police official were killed in a suicide blast in the country’s southern port city of Karachi.

P-square A source close to the telecoms operator told Vanguard yesterday on telephone that Glo may terminate the endorsement deal, which it has with the pop twins since 2010, should they go ahead with the break-up. According to the source, the telecoms giant entered into a contract with P-Square and not with any of the twins. “Since Glo has a contract with P-Square, and not with Peter or Paul, their breakup will definitely lead to the termination of the contract,” the source explained.

Estranged wife of the head pastor of Mountain of Liberation Miracles Ministries, Bessem Okafor, has accused her husband, Chris of battery. Dr.Okafor whose church is located at the Ojodu, Berger area of Lagos state is said to have beaten up his wife at their home in Magodo. Bessem who has been living apart from her husband since 2012 claimed she had gone to visit her four children few weeks ago because were in custody of their father. The visit was said to have been arranged by a lawyer from the Office of the Public Defender, Lagos State Ministry of Justice, and her husband’s lawyer, Onyechukwu Ubani. She said, “I have not seen my children for nine months and our lawyers agreed that I could come see them at home after school hours by 5pm. I went to the house at the appointed time, but my children were not there.
