Super Eagles stay put in FIFA ranking

Nigeria has remained unmoved, maintaining their 53rd spot in the latest FIFA world ranking released on Thursday, September 3.
The Super Eagles however moved one step higher, from 10th to 9th spot on the continent of Africa.
Algeria continued to set the pace in Africa, with Ivory Coast and Ghana holding on to the 2nd and 3rd places respectively. They are trailed by Tunisia, Senegal, Congo, Cameroon and Egypt.
Globally, Argentina maintained their leadership position on the summit, and are trailed by Belgium and Germany who stayed put in the 2nd and 3rd spots respectively.
