Centre for China Studies Opens in Abuja
The Centre for China Studies to carry out rigorous research and promote traditional solidarity on China-Africa relations has opened in Abuja.
The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Gu Xiaojie speaking at the opening in Abuja yesterday said the relationship between Nigeria and China has witnessed remarkable achievements over the years along with the friendly cooperation between Africa and China.
Represented by the Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy, Xiaojie said 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of strategic partnership, which provides an opportunity for deepening cooperation between both sides.
"Some research institutes and think tanks like CCS have been set up to conduct an overall study of China and Nigeria-China relations, which have played an active role in enhancing mutual understanding and trust. he said.
