Governor Oshiomhole’s Aides Beats Up Catholic Priest To Coma In Edo State
These days, it seems Governor Adams Oshiomole's name is only mentioned for the wrong reasons in the news. More facts have emerged on the recent inauguration of Ujogba Road in Edo Central Senatorial district by the state government. Reports say a priest attached to Saint Dennis Catholic Church, Ujogba, Reverend Father Peter Udo was allegedly beaten into coma by some aide of Governor Adams Oshiomhole for allegedly failing to leave the road on time when the governor and other visitors who arrived the area for the inauguration. It took the intervention of some Samaritan, who rushed the Reverend Father to Saint Camilus hospital, Uromi where he was given medical attention. Reverend Father Udo, who was allegedly beaten into coma by governor Adams Oshiomhole aides has, however, been discharged from Saint Camilus Hospital from where he has been taken to an unknown destination. A visit to Reverend Father Udo’s Church in Ujogba today revealed that he did not participate in the Church service. Attempt by the news crew to ascertain his where about were unsuccessful as the Parish Priest declined comment on the issue.
