Gunmen kidnap oil minister, Diezani’s sister

Nigeria’s Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke’s sister has been kidnapped by gunmen in Port Harcourt.
The minister implied that her mother was seized because of her ministry’s crackdown on oil companies which had abused the country’s rotten fuel subsidy scheme.
Vanguard reports that the men abducted her sister, Osiyo Agama, at gunpoint as she was walking to her car on Tuesday night.
The motive for the abduction is currently unknown, as there has been no report of the men asking for a ransom.

Dagote Cement Plc is said to be most vulnerable to the feared protests. Several inspectors in the construction industry suspected that the collapse of buildings could be attributed to poor quality cement, an allegation that was vehemently denied by the Dangote Cement Plc arguing that their products ere up to international standards.
