                 Reports of building collapsing while under construction in many parts of Nigeria have heightened prospect of demonstrations against leading cement producers. Dagote Cement Plc is said to be most vulnerable to the feared protests. Several inspectors in the construction industry suspected that the collapse of buildings could be attributed to poor quality cement, an allegation that was vehemently denied by the Dangote Cement Plc arguing that their products ere up to international standards. The country coalition of civil society groups expressed grave concern over reports of collapsing buildings before threatening to demonstrate against major cement producers
