Street hawking banned in Plateau

Following the recent bombings that left hundreds of people dead in Plateau State, the state government has banned street hawking in the state capital, Jos, Premium Times reports.
The commissioner of information, Olivia Dazyem, who made the announcement, said hawkers are to relocate to markets within the state capital.
All street motor parks in the central business Area of Ahmadu Bello way and traders on Murtala Muhammed way and Terminus area were also directed to relocate to approved motor parks.
