Senate president rallies support for Eagles

The President of the Nigerian Senate, David Mark, has urged the Super Eagles to go and 'conquer' the world in order to bring respect to Nigerian and African football in general, KickOff Nigeria reports.
Mark stated this in a goodwill message sent to the Nigerian contingent of players and officials before their departure to London on Sunday.
Nigeria is placed in Group F alongside Iran, Argentina and Bosnia.

                 Reports of building collapsing while under construction in many parts of Nigeria have heightened prospect of demonstrations against leading cement producers. Dagote Cement Plc is said to be most vulnerable to the feared protests. Several inspectors in the construction industry suspected that the collapse of buildings could be attributed to poor quality cement, an allegation that was vehemently denied by the Dangote Cement Plc arguing that their products ere up to international standards. The country coalition of civil society groups expressed grave concern over reports of collapsing buildings before threatening to demonstrate against major cement producers
