Hollywood most elusive bachelor, is reportedly now engaged.
According to news making the rounds, he's engaged to Amal Alamuddin and he's even proposed to her, People magazine says.
A second source also said Alamuddin was seen wearing an engagement ring while the couple were having dinner with Clooney's close friends Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber at Nobu in Malibu.
Although the rumour hasn't been either denied or confirmed by Clooney's representative, report has it that plans for their wedding has been finalized.
Alamuddin is a 36-year-old British attorney who specialises in international law, human rights, extradition and criminal law. They were first publicly seen together October last year in London, though Clooney has yet to confirm the relationship to the press.
Born in Beirut, she studied at Oxford University's St Hugh's college and the New York University School of Law. Her high profile clients include Julian Assange of WikiLeaks (she represented him during his extradition proceedings in Sweden), and she has also advised the UN and the King of Bahrain. The highly accomplished barrister is also fluent in French and Arabic.
