Nigeria Air force make major changes

The Nigeria Airforce has experienced its first major shakeup since the new chief of Air staff (CAS), Air Marshal Adesola Amusa took over, reports Thisday.
The new redeployments affect 116 senior Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officers and commanders, and was announced on thursday in a statement signed by NAF's Director of public Relations and Information commodore Yusuf Anas.
Anas said that the latest changes was part of the transformation agenda of the NAF to improve its effectiveness.

                 Reports of building collapsing while under construction in many parts of Nigeria have heightened prospect of demonstrations against leading cement producers. Dagote Cement Plc is said to be most vulnerable to the feared protests. Several inspectors in the construction industry suspected that the collapse of buildings could be attributed to poor quality cement, an allegation that was vehemently denied by the Dangote Cement Plc arguing that their products ere up to international standards. The country coalition of civil society groups expressed grave concern over reports of collapsing buildings before threatening to demonstrate against major cement producers
