Nollywood to honour stakeholders in Abuja

Nollywood Ambassadors Awards ( NAA ) International Initiative, says it will honour stakeholders who have contributed to the growth of the Nigerian movie industry at its maiden event scheduled for Sept. 29.
“Nollywood has evolved to become a global brand, and it is time to celebrate our brand ambassadors for their immense contributions to the growth of a brand that has created jobs for many Nigerians.
Mr Sunny-Ken Awoji, President of the Initiative, organisers of the award, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.
