Musicians mourn Kefee

                       Some artistes and residents of Lagos have reacted to the death of Kefee Don Momoh, a popular musician fondly called the Branama Queen. Kefee died on June 13 after a 14-hour flight to Chicago, USA for an event. She reportedly collapsed in the course of the flight and went into coma, forcing the plane to land in Los Angeles for medical attention. The Leader of Infinity musical group of the Olori Oko fame, Joseph Okugbo, described the death of Kefee as a 'rude shock’ to the nation’s entertainment industry.

Dbanj drops new single for 10th anniversary

                                   To celebrate 10 years of being in the music industry, musician, entertainer and entrepreneur, Dbanj has released a new song titled Alaye. Dbanj who made the announcement of the new single on his Instagram page, during the week signed actress/musician Tonto Dikeh to his record label-DB records. Emmanuel Ikubese comes second at Mr World

                                        Nigerian actor, Emmanuel Ikubese came in second at the 2014 Mr World contest, held on Sunday in the UK.  Ikubese was beaten to first place by Mr Denmark, Nicklas Pedersen. He also shared a picture on Instagram of his Most Stylish contestant trophy. The Mr World pageant pits 46 contestant through the talent, sports, multimedia, fashion and style, and extreme challenge stages.

2face holds sixth album listening party

                                     Musician 2face Idibia held an exclusive album listening party for his upcoming sixth studio album, titled The Ascension, reports Nigerian Entertainment Today(NET) The HyperTek boss revealed that there are seventeen tracks on the album. He said that it was a labour of love that took him over two years to record. The album features american artists; Bridget Kelly and Sean Wayne, rappers; Vector and Iceberg Slim. It also has HyperTek label mates Dammy Krane, Rocksteady and Victor Uwaifo.
