Music Director of Christ Embassy Church Zone 1, Idimangoro Parish, Agege, Lagos, Edward Nnaji, has been arrested for allegedly abducting a female banker and demanding for a N20 million ransom. According to Daily Post, Nnaji conspired with two others to abduct the victim in Lagos in 2012. Scientists have completed a comprehensive study of genetic diversity in Sub-Saharan Africa. The African Genome Variation Project analysed the DNA of 1,800 people living across the continent. The data is helping scientists to understand how susceptibility to disease varies across the region and has provided more insight into how populations have moved within Africa.
