Billionaire businessman Kola Aluko buys £2m Ferrari Sergio

Motorauthority.com reports, One of the standouts of last year’s Geneva Motor Show was the Pininfarina Sergio concept, a wild speedster with a windswept shape and the running gear of a Ferrari 458 Spider. The car was built as a one-off showpiece honoring the late patriarch of the Italian design firm that bears his name and, we’re sure you’ll agree, is the most beautiful of Pininfarina’s creations since its previous one-off Ferrari, the P4/5. It’s now been confirmed by Ferrari that six examples of the Sergio will be built, but before you grab your phone to place an order take note that all six build slots for the car have been sold. They were snapped up by six of Ferrari’s most loyal customers who were invited by the automaker to place an order, similar to how the ten F60 Americas destined to be built were sold. Continue...

Watch a Brand New Video ‘Praise Medley’ From the Branama Queen

Kefee passed on earlier this year but her memory lives on and her record label is making sure that the Kefee experience continues as they plan to drop a number of new music videos from the Branama queen. The first video has dropped and it is called ‘Praise Medley’, a track off her recently released Chorus Leader album. Shot on location in Chicago and Indiana, USA, the video was directed by her husband, Teddy Don-Momoh for Branama Afrique. The video also features cameo appearance by Chicago based Bulls Point guide, Derrick Pat Avre of Nigeria Falcons. Check it out below!

Somali militants have killed 36 non-Muslim quarry workers near the north Kenyan town of Mandera.

The attackers from the al-Shabab group shot the non-Muslims dead after separating them from Muslims, residents said. There is growing concern in Kenya about security in regions bordering Somalia after a spate of attacks. President Uhuru Kenyatta, who summoned top security officials, is to address the nation on TV later on Tuesday. The attack on the quarry workers took place earlier in the day. Witnesses said the victims were caught after midnight, while sleeping in their tents at the quarry in Kormey, 15km (nine miles) from Mandera town. Continue...

OGUN 2015: Amosun cleared as APC governorship candidate

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has been cleared by the APC to seek re-election on the platform of the party in 2015. The National Screening Committee for Governorship Aspirants (South West) of the APC, chaired by governor of Gombe state, Senator Danjuma Goje, cleared the governor, yesterday. Goje disclosed that Ogun is the only state that has one candidate in the Southwest, as at the end of sale of forms and the screening exercise. Governor Amosun thanked the APC leadership for using credible statemen for the screening exercise. He said he would continue to work with the party manifesto which is development-oriented and paramount to the present administration in the Gateway State. The governor expressed optimism that APC will be victorious in the Presidential election, and would thereby extend development across the country. He said “APC will truly make the difference in Nigeria and will be victorious in the Presidential election.”
