Another Military Helicopter Crashes in Adamawa State

Just a few days after a military helicopter crashed in the Damare area of Adamawa State, another one has crashed in Yola. The latest crash occurred yesterday, according to Sahara Reporters . According to Eyewitnesses told journalists that “the helicopter stalled in the sky before crashing to the ground in a ball of fire.” A statement is yet to be released about the incident.

HIV Positive Man in Makurdi Arrested for Raping Lover’s Young Daughters

A 32-year old mason, Terkula Iorpuur, of Behind Hemko Hospital, Kanshio, was on Thursday remanded in prison by a Makurdi Magistrates’ Court for allegedly raping two sisters. Iorpuur is charged with rape punishable under Section 284 of the Penal Code. The prosecutor, Terzungwe Kajo, told the court that the uncle of the victims reported the matter at ‘B’ Division Police Station, Makurdi, on October 6th. Continue...
