Kanye West explains North's front row tantrum...and it's all about himself

Image
Kanye West's moment in the spotlight was stolen when baby North threw a wailing tantrum in Kim's lap before the runway show began. The rapper-turned-designer perhaps intended to get it back when he shared his opinion as to what upset the 20-month-old tot and caused her to cry and flail her arms around. Kanye spoke about the incident backstage after the show, and not surprisingly his explanation revolved all around himself. 'Maybe she was just scared for her daddy,' Kanye told i-D , fashion know-it-all for Vice. 'She just wanted people to stop being mean to her daddy. A review of hazard payments at the Connaught Hospital revealed that soldiers and police officers were included on the list of eligible health workers, despite hazard funds being transferred to both forces separately. The audit service has submitted the report to parliament for action. A report published in the British Medical Journal last week said that just 40% of the £2.9bn pledged by international donors had reached affected countries, possibly prolonging the outbreak. Almost 23,000 people have been infected with Ebola since its outbreak in Guinea in December 2013, with more than 9,000 of those dying from the disease.

Reports said militants first attacked the town of Dadin Kowa, about 40km (25 miles) from Gombe. Ground troops with air support then battled to keep the insurgents from entering the city. One resident quoted by AFP news agency said Boko Haram gunmen were at a roundabout in the city centre, "firing indiscriminately and throwing pamphlets calling on people not to participate in the elections" Its insurgency has become a regional crisis with the four affected countries - Nigeria, Niger, Chad and Cameroon -agreeing to form a regional military force to try to cont
