The Nigerian Army on Thursday in Lagos said it would continue to ensure a cordial relationship with civilians in the state. Lt. Col. Omale Ochaguba, the spokesman, 81 Div. Nigerian Army, said against the backdrop of the recent attack on Lagos State Government-owned luxury buses by soldiers. Crisis erupted after the death of a Corporal from Army Education Corps, Lagos, who was knocked down when he was allegedly riding on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lane on his power bike on July 4. Ochaguba said that the army would not compromise civil -military relationship in the state. “Military has no bad relationship with civilians, we are committed to protecting the lives and properties of civilians, we are not anti civilians,’’ he said.He noted that the recent alleged destruction of BRT and LAG luxury buses were not carried out by their men but by hoodlums.  He also said that the bus that hit the soldier from the back had been towed to Ikeja Cantonment while further investigations were ongoing.

                           A movie producer(pictured above) who has made sleeping with young girls his stock in trade because these girls are desperate to become stars, has been nabbed by the Police. The Ghanaian producer was caught when he deceived a 17-year old girl that he can get her a movie role in an upcoming talk of the town movie. He kept deceiving the girl for a while and later asked for s*x, so he could get her on the final list, an act she consented to. But sadly, the girl never got featured in the said movie. Her father later got to know what happened to his daughter and went to the producer's house with the police and got him arrested. To the surprise of many, when they got to his house, police caught the randy producer red handed sleéping with yet another minor, under the same promise of giving her a movie role.                           In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl from Texas has been forced to speak out after photos of her unconscious body went viral online. The teenager, Jada, had been drugged and r*ped at a party with her fellow high schoolers. According to her, she was invited to a party at a fellow high schooler’s house. The boy who was hosting the party gave her a drink that she believes was spiked with a drug that made her lose consciousness. Jada says she passed out and didn't know what happened for the rest of the night until after the party, when pictures of her body - stripped from the waist down - started appearing on social media.                                  The Federal Government of Nigeria says leading politicians have links to a terrorist group, Boko Haram that has carried out most of its attacks in some states in the northeast. Briefing journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, the coordinator of the Joint Information Centre for Security, Mr Mike Omeri, said the undisclosed politicians had been arrested and were being interrogated. According to Omeri, some of the items recovered from the suspected members of the Boko Haram sect, implicating the politicians, include some sensitive registration card. We wish to emphasise that the government, particularly the security forces and security agencies, will not condone involvement of politicians in security matters where the interest of our country is concerned and involved,” he warned.
