                        Daily Post are reporting that it was a twin Explosion, one along the new motor park and the second at the new shoprite at Ado Bayero road. The details of the Kano attack and the number of casualties are unclear. The police spokesperson for Kano State, Magaji Majiya, told PREMIUM TIMES he was on his way to the scene “to find out exactly what happened”. It was reported that the Inspector married Zarah Nineteen months after losing his first wife, Maryam, Zarah Bunu is the daughter of a former Nigerian minister, Bunu Sheriff Musa.

                                 The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi, yesterday visited President Goodluck Jonathan for the first time, since he became the Emir of Kano. Sanusi, was one of the northern traditional rulers, led by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III to join the president at the Presidential Villa, for the breaking of Ramadan fast.                                  The federal government of Nigeria has declared Monday and Tuesday (28-29) public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-fitri celebration. A statement issued in Abuja by the ministry of Interior on behalf of the federal government said the minister of Interior, Abba Moro, enjoined all Muslim faithful and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan, which he said are love, peace, justice to their daily living and through this contribute to the development of Nigeria. The Minister also enjoined all Nigerians to seize the opportunity of the holidays to reflect on the imperative of peace in nation building.
