I have dealt with this topic before but the question keeps coming up in nearly all the meetings I hold, and so I want to revisit this issue again. Is kissing a sin? That is a question on the lips of many young people who are serving God, but cannot seem to keep away from kissing each other as an expression of their love. True to it, and as a counselor, I know there are many Christians who are doing this regularly. As a young man myself in courtship, I never had jeru trip with my fiancée then, but I kissed her a few times and I really felt guilty about it. In fact, the feeling I had was that the Holy Spirit was grieved at it. So, I am not oblivious of what you are going through exactly. Now, having been married for some years, about sixteen years, I can tell you, that the strong urge to kiss as singles is just more of the devil trying to trip you than an expression of love! Folks in western countries might find this ridiculous as well, since they are more liberal and they often greet

Tunisia’s President, Beji Caid Essebsi, has vowed to fight terrorism “without mercy”, following a gun attack on the Bardo Museum in the capital Tunis that killed 19 people. Seventeen tourists were killed in the attack, including visitors from Japan, Italy, Colombia, Australia, France, Poland and Spain, officials said. An Islamic gospel singer, Monsurat Yusuf, AKA, Alhaja Saudi has been apprehended by the Ogun state Police Command for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend , Moses Eric , to death over a dream she had, Pulse reports. The lovers were said to have been engaged in heated quarrel over a dream Monsurat had the previous night where she claimed Moses had slapped her. However, her lover, Moses had played down on the dream. This infuriated the 22 year old suspect who in her anger, picked up a knife and ‘buried’ it in her boyfriends heart, leading to his death.

             IMO STATE : Some Imo state University students (IMSU) are claiming on social media that their Governor, Rochas Okorocha distributed fake laptops to them while politicking. A shortage of substitute teachers nationwide has school districts scrambling to fill positions, with some raising pay as they try to attract more applicants as the economy improves. School officials say the problem has forced schools to divide classes when teachers are absent, making it more difficult for teachers to be effective. Using other school staff also causes problems, detracting from other duties. A frequent source of substitutes has been education majors looking for experience. But officials say fewer college students are choosing teaching as a career path. The founder of the Substitute Teaching Institute at Utah State, which in 2008 spun off into an online training program for substitutes, says increased pay alone usually doesn't attract more qualified substitutes. Geoffrey Smith says they also want better training.

The University of Virginia student whose head was bloodied during an arrest outside a popular bar near the campus said Thursday he was "shocked that my face was slammed into the brick pavement three blocks from where I attend school," as his attorney vowed to fight the charges. Martese Johnson, 20, was arrested outside the Charlottesville bar by state Alcoholic Beverage Control agents who are charged with enforcing alcohol laws in Virginia.  abcnews  reports. Continue...

The police, yesterday, charged a businessman, Nnamdi Unagbu, 36, before a Tinubu Magistrate’s Court for allegedly inflicting wound on the breast of a woman. The defendant is facing a-count charge of assault filed against him.  vanguard  reports. The prosecutor, Sergeant Koti Aoudohemba, told the court that the defendant committed the alleged offence on March 9, adding that the incident occurred at Ebudola Market Balogun in Lagos Island.However, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge and Magistrate Salam Matepo granted him bail in the sum of N10,000, with two sureties in like sum. The matter was adjourned till April 1 for mention.

A tablet device that can withstand being doused in chlorine has been developed to help doctors caring for patients with Ebola. Designed by technology volunteers and Google, it can be used even wearing gloves and in storms and high humidity. Medecins Sans Frontieres put out a call for an Ebola-proof tablet to help teams record vital patient information. At the height of the current outbreak, medics were shouting patient notes across fences to avoid contamination. Ebola is passed on through close contact with infected bodily fluids. Even a single piece of paper leaving a high-risk zone poses a risk of passing on the infection, the charity says. Continue...
