Breaking...ISIS executioner is identified as former University of Westminster student from a respectable London family

’ The Islamic State executioner known as 'Jihadi John' was today identified as a man from London. Mohammed Emwazi, of Queen’s Park, west London, a computer programming graduate from the University of Westminster, is believed to have travelled to Syria in 2012 and later joined ISIS. One of Mr Emwazi’s close friends identified him, telling a newspaper: ‘I have no doubt that Mohammed is Jihadi John. He was like a brother to me… I am sure it is him.The ISIS executioner known as 'Jihadi John' has been identified as Mohammed Emwazi from west London And Asim Qureshi, research director a British human rights group Cage, who had been in contact with Mr Emwazi before he left for Syria, said he also believed the man was Jihadi John. He told the Washington Post : ‘There was an extremely strong resemblance. This is making me feel fairly certain that this is the same person.'

Four Killed In Oshodi Clash

Four people have been killed following a clash between rival members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers at the Mosafejo area of Oshodi in Lagos state. The fracas which reportedly started on Tuesday evening lasted till Wednesday after the intervention of security agents who are still keeping watch over the area to avoid further breakdown of law and order. According to  channelstv. The violence also led to the destruction of many property, including about 27 vehicles, 15 of which were completely burnt. Several shops located at the Mosafejo motor park were also razed. It was gathered that trouble started after the rival gangs of the union disagreed over an order given to them by the police to stop the smoking of Indian hemp in the area.

FRSC Reveals New Number Plate Deadline

Federal Road Safety Commission has reversed its decision to enforce a new number plate for every car in the country. The Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Mr. Boboye Oyeyemi, made this announcement during an interview with journalists when he paid a courtesy visit on Governor Theodore Orji at the Government House in Umuahia. He said that the agency will no longer insist on any deadline for the enforcement of the new number plate. He added that the agency would abide by the court ruling which restrained it from enforcing the proposal. He explained that motorists who still had the old number plate would rather get the new ones when they go to renew their vehicle licences. “We will abide by the court ruling. It was a case of double taxation to be compelled to have the new one if your licence has not expired. It is a phase approach. If your driving licence expires, you go and renew it. Woman gives birth to baby without arms in Ogun, husband runs-(Photos)

        A woman identified as Mrs Taiwo Sheriffdeen gave birth to a baby boy without arms in Ifo LGA of Ogun state on Tuesday February 24th. According to a report by Punch, the woman gave birth to the baby, her first child, at Majotal Hospital, a private hospital in the Ilogbo area of Ado/Odo-Ota Local Government Area of the state. Speaking on the birth of her deformed baby, the mother said her husband, Mudashiru Sheriffdeen, ran away after he was told that their child was deformed at birth. “This is my first child and I do not know why I gave birth to this kind of a baby. Immediately my husband was informed that his son had deformity, he ran away and had not come to see me. Ebola crisis: Sierra Leone's Augustine Baker dies

A Sierra Leonean who worked with children orphaned by Ebola has died of the disease himself. Augustine Baker had been admitted to an Ebola treatment centre after becoming ill last week. He had worked for an orphanage run by a UK charity on the outskirts of Sierra Leone's capital, Freetown. Thirty-three children and seven staff at the St George Foundation orphanage have been in quarantine since Mr Baker was diagnosed with the deadly virus. Ebola has killed more than 9,500 people in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea. The BBC's Tulip Mazumdar reported from St George Foundation orphanage last month But in recent weeks, the crisis has eased and the governments of the three countries have pledged to achieve zero Ebola infections within the next two months.
