Man plunges car into swamp, dies

A middle-aged man was, yesterday, killed in a road accident in Imiringi axis along the Yenagoa-Ogbia Road in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

It was gathered that the deceased, the only occupant of the vehicle, was driving a red Toyota Camry salon car with number plates FKJ 821 DJ, when the car skidded off the road into a swamp along the road killing, the man instantly. An eyewitness said the driver was on speed when the incident occurred yesterday morning, adding that it was difficult to rescue the victim.

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.
