[Updated] Catholic Diocese Of Warri Announces The Transfer Of Priests To New Parishes.

The Catholic Diocese of Warri, Delta State, has announced the transfer of her Catholic Priests in several parishes across the diocese.
The transfer comes as a surprise to the lay faithful; though not the priests, for they are constantly rotated and shuffled into various parishes every two-years interval.
According to a very reliable source, who communicated this information to our Correspondent, several priests are expected to move from their present parishes to other parishes.
The source says: "I can confirm to you that there is an ongoing massive transfer of Priests in the Catholic Diocese of Warri."
"A minimum 80% of the entire priest in the diocese must leave their current parishes for new parishes."
Here are the parishes affected so far:
1. Ozoro
2. Two Parishes in DSC
3. Mother of Redeemer, Effurun
4. Cathedral Administrators
5. Emevor
6. Orogun
7. Okwokokor
8. Idama
9. Olomoro
10. Jesse
The new transfer takes effect within two weeks.
