Mark Zuckerberg and Wife Priscilla Donate $25 Million to Help Fight Ebola

Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan have just made a major announcement in the wake of the Ebola crisis. In a Facebook post, the two revealed that they are donating $25 million to the Cdc Foundation to help fight the current epidemic. The current situation "is at a critical turning point," he said in his statement earlier today. "It has infected 8,400 people so far, but it is spreading very quickly and projections suggest it could infect 1 million people or more over the next several months if not addressed." Zuckerberg added, "We need to get Ebola under control in the near term so that it doesn't spread further and become a long term global health crisis that we end.

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.
