 Rita Dominic’s The Meeting had to fly past the highly acclaimed Biyi Bamdele’s Half Of a Yellow Sun to win the ‘People’s Choice‘ Award at the just concluded Nollywood Week held in Paris, France, according to Nigerian Entertainment Today
As part of the incentives for winning the award, the film will be shown at the 2015 African Culture Festival.
Other films that were nominated included, Ashionye Raccah’s Journey To Selfand Michelle Bello’s Flower Girl

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.                        America and five Arab countries have launched dozens of air strikes against Islamic terrorist group ISIS, killing at least 20 militants and blasting a series of its bases.
