Stage play pays tribute to Wole Soyinka at 80

As part of Wole Soyinka's 80th birthday on July 5, the Thespian Family Theatre & Production will stage a popular Wole Soyinka play, The Lion & The Jewel', reports Pulse.ng
The stage drama will take place at Terra Kulture, in Victoria Island and Freedom Park, during the months of July and August.
The play is directed by Toyin Osinaike, and chronicles how Baroka, the lion, fights with the modern Lakunle over the right to marry Sidi, the titular Jewel.

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.
