A member representing the South-South region in the Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC), Dr. Sylvanus Mordi, has been kidnapped by gunmen, Nation reports.
Mordi, a former Delta State Head of Service during the first tenure of former governor James Ibori, was reportedly kidnapped on Tuesday in Edo State, on his way to Abuja from Agbor, Delta State.
A close family source revealed that the kidnappers had contacted his family for a N10 million ransom for his release.

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.
