 Source reports that  Four students of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, have been paraded by the Kwara State Police Command over armed robbery and cultism.
The suspects, Olawuyi Babatunde, Osadahin Matthew, Bamikole Emmanuel and Adebisi, all confessed to be members of the Eiye cult group after interogation.
Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Ambrose Aisabo, said the four students attacked and robbed one Adeolu Emmanuel, a neighbour to one of the suspects, on the 18th of April.
"The suspects were arrested after successfully robbing one Adeolu Emmanuel of his property including
laptops, four assorted telephones, one deck with speakers and N30,000 cash.
"On interrogation, the suspects confessed to be members of the Eiye cult group and also confessed to have been responsible for robberies around Offa and its environs in recent times”, the police boss said.
He added that the suspects would be charged to court after investigation.
The Commissioner said the command was worried about increasing involvement of students of tertiary institutions in Kwara state in crime.
It will be recalled that in March, some students of the College of Health Technology, Offa, were paraded for various offences ranging from cultism, armed robbery and rapevekotv reports.
