A teacher threatened his students with TV spoilers.
A mathematics teacher at a school in Belgium told his disruptive class that if they didn't start to behave he would reveal the names of characters that had been killed off in the third season of the popular series Game of Thrones
Desperate for the teenagers to take his lesson seriously, he asked how many of them watch the series - which is based on the books by George R. R. Martin - and when the majority of them raised their hands he seized the opportunity to shut them up.
When asked what he said to the students, he told the Nieuwsblad newspaper: "I said, 'Well, I've read all the books. If there is too much noise, I will write the names of the dead on the board.'"
The pupils are then said to have gone back to work in silence in order to avoid their punishment.
