Singer  Tiwa Savage was arrested for jumping a red light and insulting a police officer over the weekend in front of Eko Hotels and suits, Victoria Island.
The Mavin Records artist was taken to the Victoria Island police station where she apologised for her unruly behaviour and was allowed to go.
the incident was confirmed by group publicist for Mavin Records, Terfa-Gysdo who said that Mavin Records will be issuing a statement regarding this soon.

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.
