MTN Foundation receives more praise for its wide -impact initiatives, wins CSR award

The MTN Foundation has been honoured with the innovative partnership Award for Outstanding Work in
Corporate  social Responsibility at the 3rd CSR NIGERIA Industry Award.
Speaking during the presentation, Managing partner of CTRU Concepts, Olowokere Taiwo, said MTN Fondation won the award based on the various life - impacting contribution it has made to the society.
In his words: "This is the year of the CSR Nigeria Industry Award and unlike previous years. we called for nomination from NGOs, organzations and indivduals. MTN foundation was nominated in the corprate category on account of its partnerships and coporate philanthropy, with emphasis on its coprate  social investment implemented in the areas of Health, Education and Ecnomic Empowerment">
Receiving the award on behave of the MTN Fopundation, MS Nonny Ugoma, Excutive secretary, MTN Foundation fopr norminating the MTN Foundation.
'We are truly houred to receive  this award and more so because we were nominsted by the Sickie Cell Foundation of Nigeria with whom we have had a long standing relationship with since 2005".

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.                        America and five Arab countries have launched dozens of air strikes against Islamic terrorist group ISIS, killing at least 20 militants and blasting a series of its bases.
