Kaduna releases 56 prisoners

Kaduna - Garba Abubakar, the comptroller of prison in Kaduna State, confirmed  that 56 prisoners have been freed from the Zaria prison by the state Government .
Abubarkar made this known shortly after the releases of decongesting prison across the state.
"when i assumed duty as comptroller i told the state Governor that our prison are truly congested and by the power bestowed on him he should look into the problem.
the governor accepted the initiative and constituted a committee under the chairmanship of the state Atroney-
General, Justice shehu Garba" he said.
 The state Attorney -General and commissioner for justice says the committee visit all the 14 prisons in the state to carry out the similar exercise.
on delay in dispensation of justice court the commissioner stressed the need for amendment of procedure rule efficiency  and effectiveness
He appealed to the release inmates to  repent and reform in order to be of good behavior  and useful to the society.
the commissioner also urged the prison and judiciary to be committed and dedicated to the duties
