President Jonathan Seeks Death Penalty For Cyber Crime

president Goodluck Jonathan has proposed a death sentenced on persons who hack into the critical National information infrastructure or computer networks resulting in the loss of lives.
 The proposal is contained in the Cyber Crime Bill 2013, which is before the House of Representatives.However, where there is no loss of lives but the offender causes “grievous bodily injury” to another person, the bill recommends a prison term of not less than 15 years.Using any computer network for terrorism purposes also attracts life sentence.The bill defines Critical National Information Infrastructure as “certain computer systems, networks and information infrastructure vital to the national security of Nigeria or the economy and social well-being of its citizens.”The bill frowns on child pornography, as it imposes a 10-year jail term for offenders or a fine of N20million or both.The bill criminalises the use of force to engage children in sexual activities.Offenders are liable to being convicted to10 years imprisonment or a fine of N15m

Ray J has given Kim Kardashian his share of the 2014 profits from their sex tape as a wedding gift. The 33-year-old singer has offered his former girlfriend and her fiancé Kanye West a cheque for almost $47 000, which is the amount of money he made from the X-rated Kim Kardashian Superstar video - which was filmed when they were dating in 2007 - between January and April this year. According to gossip website TMZ, Ray picked up $6135.60 in January, a staggering $20 097.31 in February, $9 674.76 in March, and $10 931.52 in April, and under the deal signed with Vivid Entertainment - who say the tape has made an estimated $50m to date - she is entitles to royalties at least the same as her former lover. It is unclear as yet whether Kim - who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kanye - will accept the gift, but if she doesn't, the singer has pledged to donate it to her favourite charity.
