Nollywood and comedy combine forces in "Saint and the silly"


Comedians - Koffi, Owen Gee and Lepacious Bose have teamed to create up a sitcom titled Saint and The Silly which premiers on Sundayon WAPTV.
The series follows two friends, Samuel and Samson played by Koffi and Owen Gee open up a midtown level bar, and plot different schemes to survive and keep the business afloat.
The nearby canteen "Rice&things; mammy Rice played by Lepacious  Bose, also given a humorous insight into what happened at some local canteens.
Other comedians who features include  Cee.Y, BowJoint, Gbenga Adeyinka, Tee.A. Teju Babyface, Dauda, Mc Abby, Yaw and special appearance by the king of comedy, Alibaba.
Nollywood stars who make appearances in the series include Zebruadaya, Madam Kofo, Funsho Aseolu, Doris Simeon, Monalisa Chinda and Mercy Aigbe.
Saint and Silly is created by Koffitha Guru' Idowu-Nuel.
